Menjadi guru, bukanlah pekerjaan mudah. Didalamnya, dituntut pengabdian, dan juga ketekunan. Harus ada pula kesabaran, dan welas asih dalam menyampaikan pelajaran. Sebab, sejatinya, guru bukan hanya mendidik, tapi juga mengajarkan. Hanya orang-orang tertentu saja yang mampu menjalankannya.

Mimpi Tentang Ayah

Semalam, aku bermimpi bertemu dengan ayahku. Sebuah mimpi yang terkadang dating begitu saja ketika hatiku merasa galau, resah dan gelisah. Ayahku telah lama meninggal ketika aku baru berusia 15 tahun. Saat itu aku kelas 3 SMP, dan sedang libur Lebaran. 14 November 2004, aku kehilangan ayahku, ayah terbaik dan terdekat yang tahu akan pendidikan anak2nya. Ayah yang selalu mendukungku dalam segala hal tentang pendidikan. Aku rindu..

Kisah Menyentuh Seorang Ibu Tua

Ini cerita dari Jepang kuno. Mudah2an bisa diambil hikmahnya...

Konon pada jaman dahulu, di Jepang ada semacam kebiasaan untuk membuang orang lanjut usia ke hutan. Mereka yang sudah lemah tak berdaya dibawa ke tengah hutan yang lebat, dan selanjutnya tidak diketahui lagi nasibnya.

Alkisah ada seorang anak yang membawa orang tuanya (seorang wanita tua) ke hutan untuk dibuang. Ibu ini sudah sangat tua, dan tidak bisa berbuat apa-apa lagi. Si anak laki-laki ini menggendong ibu ini sampai ke tengah hutan. Selama dalam perjalanan, si ibu mematahkan ranting-ranting kecil. Setelah sampai di tengah hutan, si anak menurunkan ibu ini.

Kasih Sayang Seorang Ibu

Alkisah di sebuah desa, ada seorang ibu yang sudah tua, hidup berdua dengan anak satu-satunya. Suaminya sudah lama meninggal karena sakit. Sang ibu sering kali merasa sedih memikirkan anak satu-satunya. Anaknya mempunyai tabiat yang sangat buruk yaitu suka mencuri, berjudi, mengadu ayam dan banyak lagi.

Ibu itu sering menangis meratapi nasibnya yang malang, Namun ia sering berdoa memohon kepada Tuhan, “Tuhan tolong sadarkan anakku yang kusayangi, supaya tidak berbuat dosa lagi. Aku sudah tua dan ingin menyaksikan dia bertobat sebelum aku mati.”

Namun semakin lama si anak semakin larut dengan perbuatan jahatnya, sudah sangat sering ia keluar masuk penjara karena kejahatan yang dilakukannya.

Suatu hari ia kembali mencuri di rumah penduduk desa, namun malang dia tertangkap.
